Here in Arizona, it is still pretty hot. . . it is July after all. The heat isn’t going to taper off significantly until after Halloween. So, what did I pick to do for this hop? CHRISTMAS IN JULY, of course.
Let’s take a short trip down memory lane to last December for some adorable Christmas cards made with Unity Stamp Company’s fabulous deeply etched red rubber stamps.
First up is a background I made with the Santa hat from Unity’s 2020 Advent Calendar. In fact, quite a few of these will be made with Advent Calendar stamps. I really hope Unity decides to do an Advent Calendar again this year! For the sentiment, I used Unity’s sentiment kit from October 2017 “Cheerful Prancing.”
For the next card, I used the “Joy” stamp from the Advent calendar and paired it with Unity’s paper packs Farmhouse Christmas and Farmhouse Plaid. I added a thin strip of silver glitter paper from my stash to cover my “seam” between the two patterned papers and layered everything on a kraft card base.
Next up is another with more stamps from last year’s Advent calendar. I made the background with the “Ho Ho Ho” stamp and also stamped the little wreath and fussy cut it out (inside too). The “Merry Christmas” sentiment is from Unity’s November 2014 sentiment kit “Magic of Christmas.”
For this next card, I used various papers and a bit of gold ribbon from my stash, along with a sentiment from Unity’s “Glimmering Greetings” set. Super simple, but elegant all the same.
Finally, a darling little set of moose and reindeer cards. For the background, I used Unity’s “Christmas Over Again” background stamp. I stamped, colored and had my Scan-n-Cut do the fussy cutting for the Moose Boys and the Reindeer Brothers. Each of these guys is his own Itty Bitty: {Moose}ing You – Charles; Happy Kiss-Moose – Everett; A{moose}ing Holiday – Clarence; Let It Snow {I’m Ready}; {Oh Deer} Happy Holidays; and Oh Little Star {Shine Bright}.
I hope you enjoyed these Christmas card ideas. Now I better go get started on making some more. Christmas will be here before we know it!
Don’t forget to take advantage of Unity’s Christmas in July Sale this weekend. Several of the stamps featured today are on sale!
