We have another Viva La Verve sketch this month that I found on Pinterest.

I chose “thank you” as my theme this month and “shabby chic” as my style. Once again, I started by digging through my paper horde to find paper I thought fit the shabby chic look. I found “Distressed Floral” by The Paper Studio. It seemed absolutely perfect for a shabby chic card.

I pulled several papers that thought went well together and cut the elements for card. I used a Tim Holtz distressing tool to rough up the edges of the different layers, and then inked them with Distress Ink in Vintage Photo.

I also used Unity Stamp Company’s Scallops and Circles stitched nesting dies to cut the circle element for the card. I used Gina K. Designs “Grateful Greenery” to stamp the thank you sentiment inside the circle.

Finally, I layered up all of the elements and finished up the card.
