Today I’m using Unity Stamp Company’s Winnie the Pooh: How do you spell love? set and coordinating die. I cut out the image and then stamped it out in Versafine Clair Pinecone.
I colored the image with Prismacolor Premium colored pencils. For Pooh, I used Mineral Orange, Goldenrod, and Yellow Ochre. For Piglet, I used Nectar, Pink Rose, and Deco Pink for his head, arms and legs, and for his sweater Olive Green and Grass Green. I never knew that in the original illustrations Piglet’s sweater was green.
I picked a piece of patterned paper with pale hearts and then cut a heart out of a piece of pale pink marbled paper and layered them on a kraft card base. I stamped the outside sentiment on the heart and added my colored image toward the bottom of the card.
I stamped the inside sentiment and finished up the card.
