Simply Swap It – January 2023

We picked back up with our swap card group in January. It was nice to have a break for November and December to allow time for family and friends for the holidays. We are continuing with our sketches for this swap round. The January sketch came to us from cardztv.blogspot.com through Pinterest.

I chose “designer paper” for my style this month and “get well” for my theme. I chose a few different pages from a couple of paper packs in my vast paper stash. I’m not sure whether either of them are still available (that is how vast my paper stash is).

I cut my layers to size and chose a light purple card base.

I chose Unity Stamp Company’s set Take Care of You for my sentiment and my focal image that I stamped on the small white layer. I stamped the get well sentiment on the circle.

I added purple to the flower petals with Prisma colored pencils for an added pop of color.

I glued each layer and finished up the cards.
